Your GST instance

Login methods, registration rules, user limits and available features can be configured individually to match the requirements of your company.

No two companies work in exactly the same way. That is why a GeoSewerTrack instance is not simply provided with an unchangeable standard configuration.

The customer decides how their GST environment should be configured.

When the instance is set up, central functions and access rules can already be defined according to the company’s requirements.

Your own GST address

Each customer instance receives its own subdomain and therefore a clearly assigned access point to GeoSewerTrack.

This creates a clearly separated working environment for the respective company.

You choose how users sign in

There is not just one prescribed method for user authentication.

For each instance it can be defined whether users can sign in, for example, using:

  • username and password,
  • supported social login providers, or
  • a combination of several login methods.

This allows the access method to be selected in line with the company’s internal requirements.

User registration according to your requirements

The customer also decides whether new users may register themselves within the GST instance.

If self-registration is not desired, it can be disabled.

GST can therefore be used both by companies that allow internal self-registration and by organisations where user accounts are to be created only in a controlled manner.

Restrict registration to specific email domains

If registration is enabled, it can also be specified which email addresses are permitted.

An email whitelist can, for example, restrict registration to specific company domains.

A company can therefore require users to register only with an approved business email address.

The whitelist can be enabled or disabled depending on the desired configuration.

Social login as required

If social login is to be used, the login providers intended for the respective instance can be selected individually.

GeoSewerTrack already supports various established social login providers. Additional providers can be requested and reviewed and, where technically appropriate and acceptable from a security perspective, can be integrated as well.

Not every available provider is offered automatically. If there are security concerns regarding a service or its integration, that provider can deliberately be excluded.

This means that each customer instance receives only those login methods that fit the company’s requirements and the intended security standards.

Enable functions individually

Individualisation does not stop at the login process.

Different GeoSewerTrack areas can also be enabled or disabled specifically for a customer instance.

These can include functions such as:

  • blog,
  • Q&A,
  • information areas,
  • GPS functions within drawings, and
  • other modular GeoSewerTrack functions.

This gives each company exactly the range of functions intended for its actual use case.

One platform, different requirements

A small sewer service company has different requirements from an organisation with many users, several work areas and extensive documentation.

GeoSewerTrack takes these differences into account.

You define the requirements.

We configure the appropriate GST instance.

From login methods and registration rules to user numbers and available functions, a GeoSewerTrack environment is created around the requirements of the respective organisation.

Your employees. Your access rules. Your functions. Your GST instance.
